Mansfield, MA — March 07, 2022 — SVN | Parsons Commercial Group | Boston has completed the $1.04 million sale of a 14,151-square-foot mixed-use building at 26 Otis Street in Mansfield, Massachusetts to Brian & Mary Pat McSharry of Closet and Storage Concepts.
Senior Advisors, Marilyn Santiago and Garrett Quinn of SVN | Parsons Commercial Group | Boston represented the buyer, Brian and Mary Pat McSharry, and Bill Kingdon of Ellis Realty Advisors represented the seller, IGW Realty Trust, in the transaction.
26 Otis Street was built in 1900 and was a mix of several uses including a well known Country Store and Emporium, as well as a furniture warehouse. The building is located on Otis Street which runs between School Street and Gilbert Street and is in proximity to Route 95 and Route 495.
Brian and Mary Pat will be moving their business, Closet and Storage Concepts, into the building. The business is family-owned and operated specializing in customized home organization solutions.
As a way to honor the history of the building, the new owners plan to also reserve approximately 3,300 square feet of the building to open a smaller version of the Old Country Store called 1829 Country Store.
